Dr Maohua Miao was born in 1977 in Inner Mongolia. She finished her medical training at Baotou Medical College in 2000. In 2005, she received her Doctor degree from Shanxi Medical University. She is an associate professor and the assistant director of her research group in SIPPR.
        She has been the principle investigator of the studies “A  multi-center study on the treatment of menorrhagia with Tranexamic Acid in Asia”(Daiichi Pharmaceutical Co.Ltd)”and “Environmental BPA exposure and puberty development” (Kaiser Foundation）and co-investigator of the study “Genetic and environmental risk factors of sperm abnormality in a population with unique genetic background” (973 program). She has also involved in several other studies including “Exposure to Bisphenol A and reproductive effect in human” (NIH), “Basic research on the development and intervention of congenital heart disease”（973 program）、“A case-control study on the relationship between exposure to EMF and human semen quality ” (Kaiser Foundation), etc. She has published 31 scientific papers, among them 8 papers were published in SCI journals.
