Tu Xiaowen , Ph.D, Professor and supervisor of master degree students with Fudan University. Dr. Tu’s main research areas include adolescent sexual and reproductive health, prevention of STDs/HIV, domestic violence and its sexual and reproductive health outcomes among women, etc. She completed a Master Degree of Medicine at Shanghai Medical University, Shanghai, China (now Fudan University, Shanghai, China) in 1997. In 2005, she received her Ph.D in Epidemiology and Statistics from Fudan University, Shanghai, China. In 2011, she completed postdoctoral training in clinical epidemiology at University of Ottawa, Ottawa, Canada. In the past five years, she has been a principle investigator of several research projects supported by RHR/WHO, Bill and Melinda Gates Institute for Population and Reproductive Health, Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, Ford Foundation, NIH, State Population and Family Planning Committee of China, etc. Up to now, she has published more than 60 papers in national and international peer-reviewed academic journals.
