Professor Chen Jianxing, born on July, 1965, graduated from East China university of chemical technology in 1987, majored in Medicinal Chemistry. At present, acted as the director of drug development department of Shanghai institute of planned parenthood Research, the vice-director of National Population and Family Planning Key Laboratory of Contraceptives Drugs and Devices Research, the member of the academic committee of Shanghai institute of planned parenthood Research and the committee of middle-level professional- technical posts qualification review and judgment board of Shanghai academy of science. 1996-1997, Schering-Plough Research Institute and 2002-2003, Amphastar Pharmaceuticals, INC as a visiting scholar.
       Engaged in the research of chemosynthesis of prostaglandin and steroid contraceptive drugs. Took charge of many national project such as antiearly pregnancy drug-sulprostone; the third generation contraceptive drug-Gestodene; oral antiearly pregnancy drug-misoprostol.; New one-rod implant containing gestodene; Vaginal ring containing natural progesterone et al. Acquired more than ten Chinese patents of invention and award of National Population and Family Planning committee. Published paper more than ten, and also acquired new drug certificates, new drug clinical research approved documents nearly ten.
