       Ji Zaisi, Male, Han Nationality, Non-Partisan, a Doctor of Science/Researcher Born on January 27, 1959.
       Achieve the Bachelor's Degree of Science in Biology Department of East China Normal University in January 1982; work as a research assistant in Biomaterial Laboratory of Shanghai Second Medical University from 1982 to 1986; Study in UK from 1986 to 1988; Study in Japan and achieve Master of Science and Doctor of Science degrees from 1988 to 1994; work as a researcher in Kanagawa Academy of Science and Technology in Japan from 1994 to 1996; employed as the researcher and secretary of Meiji Research Institute Corp. (Japan) from 1996 to 2016; hold the office of First Deputy Director of Meiji Life Science Award Administration Council approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology from 1998 to 2016; take the post of Head of Foods for Special Medical Purpose Research Group from 2011 up to now in Shanghai Institute of Planned Parenthood Research (SIPPR).
       Since 1994, he has participated in domestic research and education work. He used to be a guest professor in Medical College of Fudan University, Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, SIPPR and Chinese National Human Genome Center at Shanghai, etc., principal research of Shanghai Newsummit Biopharma Co., Ltd., and the General Manager of Shanghai Meiji Health Technology Co., Ltd.
       1.Cooperate with Chinese National Human Genome Center at Shanghai to develop “whole genome sequencing and analysis for edible lactic acid bacteria”; and, give a lecture on the 2005 International Symposium of Lactic Acid Bacteria held in Europe about relevant achievements together with academician Zhao Guoping
       2.Preside over later research and development of Meiji hepatitis B vaccine (third generation) that has been approved by Japan's Health Ministry in 1996 and goes public. Shares occupied by this vaccine on Japanese market take the second place.
       3.Participate in anti-antibody R & D work targeted at Meiji cedar pollinosis and the anti-antibody has been approved by Japan’s Health Ministry in 2006 and goes public.
       4.As the project implementation unit representative of Japanese government to execute assistance on China program working in both Beijing and Inner Mongolia. 
       5.Preside over R & D work of most functional fermented dairy products in Meiji Co., Ltd. Currently, these products dominate the Japanese market. He also participates and heads up R & D work of Meiji foods for special medical purpose; especially for products available for stomach patients, they occupy more than 70% shares on the Japanese market of like products. 
       6.In the period when he presides over the work of Shanghai Meiji Health Technology Co., Ltd., investigations on cordyceps sinensis mycelia industrially produced by simulating alpine environment have been performed together with application and development of relevant achievements. Finally, the product is successfully registered as the China Health Food.
       7.In 2013, he guided design for the liquid food for special medical purpose production line in Shanghai. As a result, not only is such a production line created for the first time in China, but four factory formulas and processes are introduced and optimized specifically to foods for special medical purpose.
       8.He publishes 30 papers on internationally well-known journals and wins 8 international patents and 30 Japanese patents.
